I work with a warm and welcoming group of people who live with the EDS (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) condition. I take Mindful mediations with the group which also includes pain management. The meditations include gentle movement with Chi Kung, breath awareness, acceptance, living with pain and breathing into the pain in a loving and careful way, noticing and reflecting on habits, body scan and self compassion.
The movement exercises link in with Breathworks meditation, whose mission is to bring mindfulness and compassion as a tool for reducing suffering to people worldwide, regardless of their situation. (Breathworks website)
